Secondary packaging

Secondary packaging surrounds the primary packaging, bundling multiple primary packages together. It is used to protect the primary packaging, facilitate easier handling and storage, and often also to present the product.

Secondary packaging is often used for group packaging in retail, providing space for marketing, branding, and information.

Examples: Cardboard boxes, shrink wrap, plastic rings for multipacks, or boxes containing multiple items.
