When developing metal pallets, we choose inner fixations according to the specifications of the part and the requirements of the client. In case of the Hyundai Tucson roof panel packaging unit, we relied on the customer request to place the parts in PE ridges. Colour-coded positions provide easy picking of parts. The sides and the back of the unit have transparent walls out of laminated PE fabric, while the front of the container is covered by a roller blind of the same material, which is fixed to the upper frame during loading and unloading of components. For easier handling, the pallet with dimensions of 1400x1170x2365 mm is equipped with a shaft and a pull bar together with castors and a central brake. One pallet unit can hold 20 roof panels.

OPTIMIZATION OF DIMENSIONS
The metal undercarriage for the Hyundai Tucson project was developed as an addition to KTP 114888. Together they form an independent transport packaging unit for internal use.
The dimensions of the metal pallet, which is equipped with two swivel castors with a brake, two fixed castors, a central brake and a pull bar, are 1250x850x300 mm. The colour shade of the surface paint of the undercarriage, RAL 7035, is identical to the colour used for the sleeve of the KTP box while the castors and the pull bar contrast with them thanks to their red colour.

Textile dunnages are a very convenient solution of metal racks inserts. Usually, they are hung on metal tubes, as in the case of a pallet for the SK316 project for injected Škoda Enyaq window frames. Here, the tube system also serves to tighten and reinforce the pocket layers inside the frame.
The relatively simple frame is equipped with a sophisticated Spunbond insert with a matrix of 15x11 pockets and loading and unloading of parts from two sides. Each pocket is halved to hold 2 parts, allowing a total of 330 window frames to be stored in one packaging unit.
The marking of the pallet is solved by a metal plate with a clip in A4 format. For mobility, the lower frame is equipped with castors with a diameter of 80 mm. The dimensions of the pallet used for internal logistics are 1500x2000x1855 mm.
